Mountain Home Project
Designed by Toby Long & Clever Homes, this 1,050 sq ft two-mod getaway home now sits with full tile, cabinetry, and running electricity in the Sierra Nevada foothills, expertly set by Bent Level Construction. The site general contractor (does he have an instagram or company name we can highlight?) will continue work through the upcoming weeks to complete plumbing connections, decking, roofing and a few onsite details.
This rust-steel-clad retreat includes two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, dining nook, and a cozy fireplace - the perfect lakeside vineyard hideaway.
We arrived onsite in beautiful Murphys, California to support the Client, Set Crew, Architect, and General Contractor to help ensure everything comes together seamlessly. At Elavate Modular, we specialize in 100% custom modular homes, finishing as much as the client wants in our factory so each project arrives nearly complete. When building 100% custom projects, every build presents new challenges — remote mountain sites, 1800 sq ft open living spaces with large glass windows and sliding doors, and flat roofs meant to withstand 18 feet of snow pack - and our team exists to solve them.
