The Napa Valley Project

Part 1

Follow along in this 10 part series as Randy and Ally detail the process of bringing to life this 5000 sq. ft. 5 Bed 3 Bath project that includes an 1800 sq. ft. clear span great room

One of the more challenging details of this project was the clear span 1800 sq. ft. great room. Kurtis explains the process and what is required on set day for everything to line up.

As key elements begin to wrap up, Randy and Ally walk through the project, giving an overview of what things will look like on set day.

A few week before shipping, Randy explains a few changes that were requested and shows the detail with which even a crawl space access must be planned.

From Drywall to Cabinetry, each detail has to be planned and executed flawlessly. The 1800 sq. ft. great room has to be within an 1/8th of an inch of the drawing in order for the steel beams that span across the entirety of the room to line up. We also had to recess certain appliances for them to align with the kitchen cabinetry.

Transportation

The mods are loaded onto extra wide and long trailers and transported in waves down to the final sight in Napa Valley. Each mod must fit within the weight, width and height regulations. All that is verified and then the teams sets off.
